B2Gold: Views from the World’s Newest Senior Gold Producer on Managing Regulatory, Political and Country Risk
B2Gold is the world’s newest senior gold producer with global gold production projected to reach nearly one million ounces in 2019. With five operating mines abroad, B2Gold has a proven history of acquiring, discovering, financing, building and operating profitable gold mines in often challenging jurisdictions, including Mali, Namibia, the Philippines and Nicaragua.
Exploration and development projects are ongoing in Burkina Faso, Colombia and Finland.
Representatives of B2Gold will speak to the challenges of managing regulatory, political and country risk for an international gold miner, and how the company has been so successful in growing from zero production in 2007 when it was founded, to becoming a major gold producer today.
