For its Wednesday, January 27, 2021 meeting, CIM’s Management and Economics Society is pleased to welcome:
Siri C. Genik
Principal and Founder, Bridge
who will deliver an online presentation on:
Why Paper Bags and Washing Machines Matter to Keeping Your Mining Supply Chain Nimble
Abstract: And then Covid-19 came long … Instantaneously disrupting what we took for granted for so long. One of those functions that has suddenly gained well-deserved attention and respect has been the role of the supply chain of a mining organisation and the team of professionals that run it. It isn’t until you don’t have it that you realise how strategic it is and how it can bring all of your operations to standstill. The presentation will share some insights and discuss some thoughts around the value of the supply chain in the mining operations, and how it is truly a core component of your business strategy for the short, medium and long-term.
