Kevin Murphy
Principal Analyst, S&P Global Commodity Insights
and
Nicolas F. Carter
Executive Vice President, Uranium, UxC LLC
who will deliver the following two online presentations:
World Exploration Review and Outlook for 2022
Session One Summary: Recovery by metals prices and the global economy in general from the pandemic supported a strong year for exploration budgets in 2021. Financing for exploration companies was robust through year-end, but has stumbled in the March quarter. Exploration drilling has nevertheless continued apace since the start of the year. With current geopolitical events playing havoc with markets and metals prices, we will speak to recent exploration trends and our forecast for the remainder of 2022.

Uranium — Has It Become More Critical Than Other Metals?
Session Two Summary: The uranium industry has seen a solid price recovery with higher spot market volume transactions due to mine shutdowns and production curtailments. The geopolitics of the industry has recently intensified, with the Asian and European headlines at the forefront of the news. The supply, demand, and inventory patterns will be reviewed for trendlines expected.
