A Strategic Metal Project: From Exploration to Stable Production
Strategic and Industrial Metals Projects present unique investment opportunities and, when developed successfully, can produce outsized returns when compared to more traditional commodities. However, inherent to their unique nature, Strategic Metals projects face distinct challenges and risks.
Targeted to both investors and prospective mine developers, this presentation will address: the key conditions of successful development; the steps to best evaluate a strategic metals project’s prospects; and explores the risks and challenges that may be encountered at each key milestone of a project’s evolution from an exploration property, to a stable producing project.
Mr. Brennan has 30 years financing and operating experience in North America & Europe. He joined Largo Resources as President and CEO in 2005 and facilitated the acquisition of the Maracas Vanadium Project in 2006. Mr. Brennan has led Largo’s team in advancing the Maracas Vanadium project through the completion of its maiden resource and definitive feasibility in 2008, and played an integral role in the successful completion of approximately $300 million in financing for the project in 2012 as well as the successful construction and commissioning of the project in 2014.
Mr. Brennan spent his early career as an investment banker in London where he focused largely on Canadian equities and covered both London and continental Europe.
